Broken and Brokenness

There have been times where living for me was in a broken state.

Relationships with parents, friends, husband, children, peers, co-workers. Usually of my own doing, or their's combined with my lack of forgiveness.

Broken from God.

Moving from being broken to a place of brokenness is usually painful. But it's a different kind of hurt. It's similar to the hurt of sore muscles after exercising - pain moving toward health. We've all been there. We've all needed to be brave at different times to process through and come out the other side.

What amazes me is God wasn't broken, I was. Yet He took on being broken so I could risk the brokenness and experience healing. Health in body, mind, soul, relationships...

Entering into this week of passion, I am choosing to focus on this thought.

This might help...
