Who Is The Next Food Network Star?

Alright....

I was disappointed to see everyone stay this week.

Who do you think is the one left standing?

Adam, Lisa, or Aaron?

I haven't watched it at all. I think you need to get on that show. I am making pickled quail eggs right now. they need to "pickle" for 24 hours. I just tried one after three hours. It was pretty good. I don't know what a good one tastes like.

LOL at Don! :) But he's right about you and your love of food. Just do it. I haven't seen any part of this show but I know some people who would love it. Donica's mom would if she were still alive.

I just watched three episodes. The one where the Indian Midwestern girl has her meltdown, the one where they feed the Coast Guard and I can't remember the other one. I found that I was impressed only with Lisa and Aaron. I thik Lisa will win. She seems to have the most knowledge and personality.

You need to get on that show. It seems like you just need to do everything with complete confidence, (with just the right amount of energy and not too much ego). Your performance experiences should help you with the camera and the pressures.

Do you have a large background with different kinds of food and preparations? The 1 minute "how-to" videos showed that none of the contestants knew how to do what they were asked to demonstrate.

Thanks for the support and encouragement! You know this is funny to see how different people react, but I know that I have to try. And I began last night by sending in my first introductory email for next season. We'll just have to see....

I agree with you, Don, about the confidence factor and food background. Since I am use to being on stage, hopefully I'll be able to relax and let my personality come through. I've been trying to expand my knowledge about seafood and fish lately. Our seafood expert at Publix has laughed a few times, because I used to buy only wild salmon, and now I'm trying all these other things and asking him a ton of questions.

Hey Don, wanna come down to Sarasota and produce my audition tape? I've already had a lot of thoughts about that...and Emma thinks I've lost it. ;)

YEA for Aaron, too, as this season's winner. He was my choice all along!

I'm glad aaron won too. I wonder what all of the criteria was. The three judges didn't reveal anything really.
